In this May 2021 edition of the outstanding BBC radio programme, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/b006qykl\">In Our Time<\/a>, Melvyn Bragg and guests discuss the unstable rule in England during this period and the impact in Scotland and, infamously, Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It provides an excellent account of the context of the King&#8217;s escape.
